Located near the traditional settlement of Adamas, in Milos Island, this luxury residential complex is the new addition to Boho Sapiens’ portfolio. The starting point of the design was the highlighting and reformulation of the traditional Cycladic architecture of the island in modern living standards. At the same time, the main aim is the unobstructed view of the majority of the 7 apartments on the bay of the island, with absolute respect for the natural environment, as well as the creation of view frames from and to the complex.

Structurally, the building is organized into 2 basic volumes that are joined at the level of the first floor through a “portico” that aims to intensify the axial access in the plot and the creation of a portal that welcomes the visitor and leads to the entrances of the ground floor apartments or to the staircase leading to the first floor. The volumes are separated by the material of white pressed plaster or stone, which creates an interesting visual diversity.

The variety of  textures, soft and hard materials such as wood, wicker, metal and linen and the use of earthy colors, aim at a modern transcription of the island’s architecture that interacts with the existing landscape that surrounds the building.

Influenced by the geometry of the nearby ancient ruins at the center of Thessaloniki,

the art deco elements of the building and the city’s vibrant character, the existing apartment was fully renovated into two luxurious suites with a welcoming and playful atmosphere.

Art and decoration is integrated into the shell of each space. And the palette is inspired by the city colours, infused with pop attitude. Warm wood tones and rich fabrics welcome the visitor, while the marble surfaces and brass elements add to the overall sense of luxury.

Boho Sapiens expands its brand with a wellness resort that breathes new life into an existing hotel located along the rocky Ionian shoreline of Messinia, next to fields and olive groves. The space was redesigned, in line with the brand’s values, to incorporate high-end suites and plenty of both indoor and outdoor wellness amenities, leaving room for exploration to its well-travelled visitors.

The shell and landscape is transformed through a series of directional stone walls, accompanied by shallow water surfaces, sculptural stone boulders and rich greenery. They merge the landscape with the common areas, creating a laid back atmosphere, amplified by sunset views.

The earthy tones continue towards the interior spaces, which are curated with a selection of unique handmade items, giving off an understated sense of luxury.
